Accountant Wanted at Plastex AB in Skellefteå

We are currently seeking an accountant based in Skellefteå. As an accountant with us, you will have overall responsibility for the accounting within our companies, a total of four including a property company and a holding company.

About the Company

Plastex AB is a privately owned company with operations in Skellefteå and Ostvik. The companies have a total turnover of approximately 75 million SEK and employ around 30 people. In the Skellefteå factory, profiles, pipes, and hoses are manufactured from various thermoplastics and biomaterials. In Ostvik, the group's injection molding factory is located, where further processing is also done.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing accounting for all four companies within the group and payroll administration for 30 employees, reporting directly to the CEO.

Examples of tasks include:

• Ongoing accounting and monthly closing for all companies in the group
• Payroll administration
• Knowledge of the company's daily finances
• Reconciliations and investigations
• Tax and VAT declarations
• Payment of the companies' taxes and VAT
• Manage the cash flow within the group
• Statistics and other reporting (e.g., Collectum, Fora, and the Swedish Business Association)
• Liquidity forecasts
• Assist in budget and forecast work
• Develop the group's administrative processes for efficient and accurate handling of our transactions
• Continuously identify improvement opportunities and work on streamlining and digitizing processes.
• Minor purchases (e.g., office supplies)
• Other administrative tasks/projects
• Switchboard/reception
• Purchase of office supplies

Your Background/Attributes

We believe you have a high school education in the economic field or a post-secondary education preferably in Accounting or Business Administration.

You have experience in payroll administration as well as preparing monthly and annual accounts. To succeed in this role with us, it is important that you are solution-oriented, driven, and passionate about developing processes and routines. As a person, you are proactive and goal-oriented while being a flexible team player who values relationships with your colleagues.

You have a strong interest in accounting and enjoy significant personal responsibility within an organization with many points of contact, a fast pace, and a dynamic environment. You have a good understanding of the financial flow and are used to working in a structured manner. You deliver quality and have a knack for switching between details and the big picture. Requirements:

• High school education in economics.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary education of two years or longer in business administration, trade, and administration
• Experience in HR
• Experience working in Monitor G5, BL Administration & Crona Lön
• Good knowledge of Excel

Information and Contact

Employment type: Permanent position, start date by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime, on-site at the factory in Skellefteå and one day a week on-site at the production in Ostvik.
Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
